Photo Story

Snake Island From Above was shot in March of 2020. Snake Island is a small island in the intercoastal in Venice, FL. This was the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Things were starting to feel tense but had not become critical yet in the area. This was one of the last awesome days on the water were able to spend with some of our close friends for many months. The temperature, the lighting, the color of the water, and the company were perfect! Because of erosion, Snake Island underwent a complete revamp. It no longer looks anything like it did in the image. The county removed almost all of the trees, pumped in tons of sand, and did some reconstruction to better handle the erosion. It’s certainly nice that the island hasn’t been completely reduced to a sand bar but the original beauty is no longer. This limited edition print captures and eternalizes it. This piece is limited to 25 @ 16×24, 10 @ 24×36 & 5 @ >24×36

Editions

Limited Edition prints are signed, numbered, and dated and are sold with a Certificate of Authenticity. Edition sizes range from 10-50 prints. Limited Edition Prints are sold on a range of media (Aluminum, Acrylic, Canvas, Paper) but are reserved for larger sizes starting at 16×20. If an image is part of a limited edition run it will be specified on the individual image page.

Open Edition prints are not limited by the number or size produced and are not numbered. Open edition prints are less expensive than our limited edition prints, and offer more flexibility in terms of custom print sizes and cropping to specific sizes. They are printed using the same quality archival materials as the limited edition prints.

Art Medium

Kodak Endura Professional Premier Metallic Paper – features a glossy finish and metallic appearance that creates images with exceptional visual interest and depth. When you select the ‘Print’ option, unless otherwise specified, all print images are printed on Kodak Endura Metallic Paper. The imagery I have printed on this paper is simply stunning.

Larger prints and custom orders are available. Modern and unique print media like prints on Aluminum, Wood and Acrylic are available and encouraged please inquire by phone or email.
